Judging PanelHow does the judging process work? After the entries are received and catalogued, the executive summaries will be sent to the judges for them to make an initial assessment. In February and March, some of the award entrants will be mystery shopped and the products will be demonstrated. In April, the judges will come together in a series of panel sessions where the entries will be discussed, the supporting material looked at and the finalists, high commendations (if appropriate) and winners selected. The awards are judged by a panel of hire industry experts and senior members of relevant trade bodies and associations. Each award is judged on different criteria. For the most part, the judges will be looking for demonstrable and qualitative results – so be sure to explain how success is measured in each project and provide (where possible to support your entry or where requested in the criteria) hard data, such as statistical analysis or return on investment, to support the statement. The judges will also consider the clarity, structure and presentation of each submission and for some awards, the creativity and effectiveness of the solution. |
