Leading British manufacturer Calorex will be bringing out the big guns at SPATEX 2016, demonstrating the enormous range of benefits and capabilities that its specialist heat pumps, dehumidifiers and heat recovery systems offer to the water leisure industry.
Spearheading the line-up of products on display will be the new and improved Delta system. These clever machines are designed to control the environment, pool water and air temperature all through one simple PLC controller and with pool water heat recovery as a standard feature throughout the range.
With new touch screen technology and a remote internet connection, Calorex’s upgraded Delta range allows you to control your pool room directly from your smartphone. All the models in the Delta range of swimming pool environmental controls now come with a 7” touch screen display providing a more flexible approach to system management. The unit can be controlled and adjusted on-site to match fan speeds precisely to ductwork resistance and automatically vary exhaust speeds to match building load requirements.
Calorex will also be unveiling its latest dehumidifier product at SPATEX – the AA500, designed specifically for the domestic swimming pool market.
The AA500 is the big brother to the popular induct style AA300, designed to efficiently control pool hall humidity and space temperature. The air to air heat recovery unit features a sophisticated inverter fan that controls airflow to a constant volume, regardless of ductwork pressure. Complete with a remote control panel and a fresh air entry point, there is also the option of pool water space heating LPHW exchangers and controls.
Typically, for every unit of power that a Calorex unit consumes, it will convert three times this amount to useable heat. The potential energy savings are huge. In fact, compared to traditional heat and ventilation energy, cost savings of over 60% are achievable while corresponding C02 emissions can be dramatically reduced by up to 70%.
Other products on display at SPATEX will include the recently improved Pro-Pac range of swimming pool heat pumps designed for all season swimming, and the top-selling Variheat III system.
Managing director Richard Carrington comments: “This year our focus at SPATEX will be primarily on efficiency and adaptability. We will be promoting the flexibility of installation and potential savings that Calorex units provide, with particular reference to the improved Delta range and the new AA500 swimming pool dehumidifier, which are delighted to be launching at the exhibition.”
With a huge choice of British-built heat pumps to cater for all water leisure requirements, visitors to SPATEX will have the opportunity to discuss possible projects from an early stage with Calorex’s team of experts and understand how heat pump systems can be designed to deliver their full potential savings.
