Eve, the UK’s leading supplier of temporary access systems, has expanded its footprint in the south by increasing the equipment storage capacity of its flagship Service Centre in Wimbledon and its satellite facility in Thurrock, East London.
Now with a combined fleet holding of over 40,000 items of fencing and barriers from the two locations Eve can better support the major events which take place across the capital and south east, such as the London Marathon, Brighton Marathon, Hyde Park Triathlon and Formula E Racing.
Service Centre Manager Mark Fisher said, “We have a huge range of barrier and fencing systems that can be used in each of the sectors in which we work to provide security, safety and demarcation in and around London. We even hold, maintain and deliver 12,000 Metropolitan Police Service owned HD barriers.”
Mark continued, “The two locations which have just been reconfigured and upgraded are ideally situated in West and East London to help deliver a rapid service into the capital. Furthermore, we have specially adapted our delivery vehicles to have deployable side walkways to increase speed and efficiency when it comes to delivery and recovery of barriers.”
The Wimbledon location is now the largest fencing and barrier Service Centre in the UK enabling Eve to fulfil over 2,000 contracts annually, delivering and installing over one million metres of barriers every year.
