The AFI group of companies has announced that customers can now live track all MEWP delivery and collection vehicles.
One of the UK's leading powered access specialists, AFI group of companies has rolled out live tracking on all their delivery and collection vehicles in a move to provide further efficiencies for MEWP hire. AFI delivery and collection vehicles are now equipped with live tracking available in the AFI Online Portal.
Over recent years AFI have invested the efficiency of their transport fleet so that they can take full responsibility and control of every aspect of the delivery and collection process for their powered access fleet. They have increased the efficiency of the fleet by strategically locating the vehicles throughout their UK depots so machines are delivered to customers quickly and collected promptly.
Donna Hall, Group Services Director, AFI said: "We are delighted to announce that AFI delivery and collection vehicles are now equipped with live tracking! With just a few clicks through their online portal, customers will be able to see the delivery status of their MEWP hire instantly. This new feature allows AFI customers to accurately plan their resources to ensure someone is on-site to accept delivery or collection; and enables us to improve our response times."
On delivery and collection, AFI customers will benefit from a live accurate visualisation on a map of where the delivery truck is, information on how many jobs away the delivery truck is, and photos of the delivery/collection once completed.
Order tracking is accessed through the AFI Online Portal and will be available to all AFI customers, including truck and track mounted customers. Customers will be sent to https://track.afi-uplift.co.uk/
