UK based Niftylift celebrates winning two prestigious Queen’s Awards for Enterprise for 2019
UK manufacturer Niftylift is proud to announce that it has, today (23rd of April 2019), been named as a winner of both the Queen’s Award for Enterprise - Innovation and the Queen’s Award for Enterprise - International Trade - two of the UK’s highest accolades for business success.
However, this is not the first time that Niftylift has enjoyed Queen's award success. In 2013 Niftylift was also honoured to receive two awards, so it is a very special achievement do so again!
Queen’s Award for Enterprise - Innovation
This award recognises companies that have demonstrated commercial success through innovative products and is given to Niftylift for the design, development and manufacture of its 28m Hybrid work platform (the HR28 Hybrid 4x4). Launched as the world’s tallest electric work platform, this state-of-the-art product combines market-leading performance with innovative safety features and an environmentally conscious power plant.
Queen’s Award for Enterprise - International Trade
This award recognises companies that have demonstrated consistent growth in overseas sales over a six year period and is given to Niftylift in recognition of outstanding achievement in export sales, with an average increase over that period of 132%.
Niftylift Ltd was founded by Roger Bowden in 1985 and designs, develops, manufactures and distributes mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) around the world. Today, it has production facilities in Barnsley and Milton Keynes in the UK, and regional sales and service centres worldwide.
Roger Bowden, Niftylift’s Chairman and Founder, said about the awards:
“We are honoured to be recognised for not one, but two prestigious Queen’s Awards for Enterprise in 2019. These awards help to illustrate how our dedication to design and innovation, together with our attention to detail and strong customer focus, have allowed us to compete so successfully in this global marketplace.
“I am very proud of the strong and close-knit team we have here at Niftylift and I’d like to thank them all for their professionalism and commitment to ensuring our worldwide reputation and success over the years.”
John Keely, Niftylift’s Managing Director added:
“This is excellent news for Niftylift and for the Powered Access industry. We are proud to be a British manufacturing success story and this recognition will help to promote the importance of the UK manufacturing industry around the world. Huge thanks go to our worldwide network of dealers and our valued customers who have placed their trust in our products and company.”
Niftylift will be presented with the Queen’s Awards at its world headquarters in Shenley Wood, Milton Keynes later in the year.
