After this week's announcement on new taxation and funding for health and social care, the Chancellor has given more details on the upcoming Spending Review and Autumn Budget.
On the 7th September, Rishi Sunak, launched the Spending Review 2021 (SR21), which will set out how much money government departments will get over the next three years. The Autumn Budget, along with the conclusion of the SR21, will be held on the 27th October.
This year’s budget comes as the UK continues to deal with financial fallout from the coronavirus pandemic, with the Treasury wanting to ensure that due to the pandemic, taxpayers’ money is spent well.
