The new fluorinated gas (F-Gas) regulations came into force on the 1st January 2021 and hire companies have recognised the need to reduce CO2 emissions.
When choosing dehumidifiers or air conditioning units it’s important to consider the global warming potential (GWP) of the F-Gas that the unit will use.
For example, the R410 gas cylinder has a GWP CO2 equivalent of 2088kg per kg whereas the R290 has a GWP equivalent of only 3kg per kg, or the R1234YF only 4kg per kg respectively. Both R290 and R1234YF gas cylinders are used in Master dehumidifiers. Clearly an enormous difference, and vital in efforts to reduce the impact on the environment.
Equipment supplier HSC has significantly boosted its stocks of the new Master Dehumidifier model DHP55DV to meet an ever-increasing demand. The introduction of the new compact DHP20, available from July 2022, has also attracted attention from both national and independent hirers who are already placing orders in advance of its arrival.
The complete range of Master dehumidifiers and air conditioners from the Dantherm Group is fully compliant and available in the UK from HSC. Click here for details.
